Some changes include:
  • New NICAS specific clubs for improved development of learning, performance and skills (block booking required).
  • Drop in clubs for those who cannot commit to block bookings or not undertaking NICAS.
  • Lead climbing clubs for the 14-17 age range
  • Adult Learn to Lead climb courses.
  • Intensive Learn to climb courses running over one weekend for those who cannot commit to two consecutive weeks.
  • Family Tasters for those looking to try climbing for the first time.

New holds and the return of a revamped 30!

The wall has been busy over the festive period, with the delivery of a large order of new Beacon holds (as part of our fund raising, and the first of many orders to come!)

Come down and try them out, we have used some of them on the bouldering wall, the main lead line of the prow and the slab. We have lots more that will slowly be filtering out as we keep up on the winter route setting.

After much discussion and request, the 65 degree board has been changed back into a continuous 30 degree board. Hopefully you all like it, write down your comments in the boulder comments book, or post on the facebook page!
