New for 2010!

A wide range of outdoor activities are available for individuals and groups to book!  Full day and half day sessions available to cater for most needs.

Activities include:

• Rock Climbing (See course list image below),
• Hillwalking,
• Canoeing,
• Rafting,
• Surfing,
• Gorge Walking,
• Coasteering,
• Mountain Biking,
• Raft building and Team Building.

We are running these activities in association with local Activity Provider; Adventure First.

8 to 17 Performance classes at Transition Extreme

To bring in the New Year we have put together some new classes for all you folks out there looking for a little more than the basics.


We're starting off with Performance Classes for 8 to 17 year olds.  These run on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am to 12:00.  The cost per person is £10.50 including equipment.


If you're aged between 8 and 17, can already do the basics (tie in and belay) and have a real interest in learning new skills and techniques then these classes would be brilliant for you!  They will concentrate on not only movement on the walls but how to develop your ability.

More new classes for adults to follow!

So folks; due to the wonderful amount of snow we have in the North East Transition will be closing at 6pm today.  We apologise for the inconvienience for those that are merely a short walk away.

Christmas Opening Hours

Deck the halls with chalk balls and all that jazz...


Over the Christmas period and new year the following changes to our opening hours will be in effect:

24th December: OPEN 10:00 - 16:00
25th December: CLOSED
26th December: CLOSED

31st December: OPEN 10:00 - 16:00
1st January: CLOSED
2nd January: OPEN 12:00 - 18:00
