Through snow and hail, wind and rain the competitors came to battle it out; and what a battle it was...
Last Friday saw the final of the League despite wintery conditions making travel hazardous (funny that with it being winter...).
With turn outs from 45 to 75 throughout the rounds the hard work of the setters and organisers is definitely worth it when we see folks enjoying themselves as much as they did. The fun comp had the most entrants and the Junior Boys had a bigger turn out too. The standard of climbing as a whole was superb with some real fancy moves being pulled off. In the end it came down to a hardened few to fight it out for the winning places. And unsurprisingly there were a few ties in the scores.
Special mention should go to Abbey Niven for taking part in the Womens category which added some spice to the competition.
John Brown managaed to snag the £50 cash prize for my problem only 45 minutes into the comp and getting it ont the first go too!! Well done John.
